Don’t forget that we also offer a free color consultation to ensure that you get the exact look that you’re going for!
And so, without further ado, we’d like to invite you to think outside the box with these color trends.
Is It Time to Try Something New?
Pink
All too often the color pink is something that is only considered for a young girl’s room, but we’d like to make the case for utilizing this color in other areas of your home. We’re not advocating for choosing a bright pink, of course (unless that’s what you’re going for!). Believe it or not, pink is a color that can work well with a number of different styles.
Think of it this way: other pastel shades look great in homes. From seafoam green to canary yellow to robin’s egg blue, pastels can provide a home with a bit of a historical flare while also remaining warm and inviting. If you’re thinking about a pastel, make it a point to at least consider pink.
All Black
Sure, opting to paint a room black goes against some traditional wisdom, but we’d be willing to say that a quick google search will show you that a room with black paint on the walls can totally work. We’ll be the first to admit that it’s not a look that is right for everyone, but if you have the right accessories and you’re willing to be a little edgy, black might make a great choice for interior paint.
If you don’t like the idea of going that bold, consider something smaller. Our advice is to have us paint the trim in your home black if you want to make a statement without going overboard. Paired with the right color, black trim can provide your home with an elegant look that’s hard to beat.
All White
If there’s one look that will never go out of style, it’s colors that make a room look light and airy. Although a little natural light admittedly helps quite a bit, it’s hard to go wrong with a basic white room. While some might consider it to be boring, we think that it offers the perfect canvas for people to decorate to their heart’s content. After all, what might not otherwise work in a room might be the perfect choice for a room with white walls.
And, believe it or not, there are plenty of different shades of white, ensuring that no matter what type of home decor you have, you can find something that will look great — and it will perfectly complement a number of different styles of decor. It doesn’t get much better than that!

Kevin began painting houses with his father’s company, C&K Painting, in 1996. His father taught him how to use a brush, roller, and caulk and clean a brush properly. He then worked for several other paint companies, where he learned how to spray oils, lacquers, and all water-based finishes. In 2012, after 15 years of experience, he decided to get licensed and start the Maller Painting Company. His team has focused on providing the best re-painting services to our residential clients in the Beaverton area.
